Awards season wrapped up in unforgettable style as the 2025 Victorian Housing Industry Association (HIA) Housing, Kitchen & Bathroom Awards delivered its trademark blend of glitz, glamour and industry excellence. After three regional Victorian HIA award nights in September, the celebrations reached their pinnacle at the Victorian State Awards, held in the beautiful Melbourne Room at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition Centre (MCEC).
From the moment guests arrived, the atmosphere was electric — a packed room, an exquisite menu, a fantastic live band, and the presentation of more than 80 awards recognising the finest achievements in Victorian building and construction.
A special congratulations goes to Grollo Homes, winners of Home of the Year — a remarkable accomplishment and a true showcase of craftsmanship and innovation.

As Col Cameron, Master of Ceremonies Melbourne, it was a privilege to once again work alongside the outstanding HIA events team. One of the personal highlights came long before stepping on stage: receiving a 100-page show scriptthat was absolutely flawless.
