Last week I had the pleasure of hosting theย Allianzย Aspire Awards at the stunningย Doltone Houseย Hyde Parkย in Sydney.
Following a full conference day, 173 finalists from across Australiaโalongside their leadership teamโarrived with incredible energy from the very first moment. My role was to keep that momentum soaring throughout the night with comedy, audience interaction and celebration moments that truly showcased the excitement in the room.
One unforgettable highlight? An electrifying performance byย Mitch Tamboย that somehow evolved into one of the longest conga lines Iโve ever witnessed at a corporate event!

But beyond the fun, what really stood out to me was something deeper.
Across speech after speech, the recurring theme wasnโt profit targets, KPIs or revenue metrics. It was customer care. A genuine and consistent focus on creating positive customer experiences and supporting people when they need it most.
That culture clearly starts at the top. Thank you to Allianz and your humble leadership team, expertly led byย Richard Feledy. You were an absolute joy to work with.
