Flooring Xtra National Conference – Sunshine, Connection & A Whole Lot of White

Escaping the chill of Melbourne for the warmth of the Gold Coast is always a treat, but this time I had an extra reason to smile—I was invited to MC the Flooring Xtra National Conference at the spectacular Sheraton Grand Mirage Resort.

And what an event it was! Over two action-packed days I had the privilege of:

• 🎤 Interviewing the stars of The Block’s highest-rated season

• 🤝 Running a one-hour team-building session that brought everyone together

• ⚡ Creating high-energy energisers to keep the room buzzing

• 🎉 Hosting the legendary White Party—complete with a bespoke quiz where every single question tied back to the word (or colour!) “White”

Flooring Xtra went above and beyond to create the perfect environment for franchisees, store support, and suppliers to connect, collaborate, and celebrate. Along the way, I loved getting to know the very colourful duo Ricky Recard & Haydn Wise, as well as Maddy Harry & Charlotte Harry, who brought their own sparkle to the event.

A special thanks goes to Catherine Burnham, Michelle Plumridge, and CEO Scott Enno—such a warm, trusting team who gave me the freedom to do what I do best: bring people together through humour, energy, and connection.

The result? A day overflowing with positivity and engagement, capped off by a party that truly rocked the night away.
